What is the Vision Visa® Prepaid Card?
Your Vision Prepaid Card is a prepaid Visa card, meaning you add cash to your card via Direct Deposit or at retail locations and you can use it to make purchases everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. No matter which Vision Prepaid Card you choose, you’ll also be able to pay bills, shop online, and withdraw cash at millions of ATMs worldwide.

How do I start using my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
When you receive your Vision Visa Prepaid Card, call the phone number on the card to activate it. Then you will need to add cash to your card through Direct Deposit or load cash at a retail location near you. Once your card is loaded with cash, you are ready to use your convenient and secure Vision Prepaid Card. Don’t forget that easy online management of your account is at www.visionprepaid.com.
How long will it take to receive my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
Your new prepaid card will arrive in the mail within 7 to 10 days after you sign up online, and your identification has been successfully verified.* If you do not receive your Vision Visa® Prepaid Card, please call our Customer Service at 1-800-207-1805.
What's the easiest way to keep my Vision Visa Prepaid Card loaded with money?
The easiest way to load your prepaid card is through Direct Deposit to either a Vision Premier® or Vision Platinum® Visa® Prepaid Card. You can add cash to your account regularly from all or part of your paycheck or government benefits check for FREE! Don’t want Direct Deposit on your prepaid card? The Vision Preferred® Visa® Prepaid Card is right for you, with over 100,000 locations nationwide that will accept money to load your card.
Are there other ways to load cash to my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
You can always load cash instantly to any Vision Visa Prepaid Card at over 100,000 retail locations including Green Dot MoneyPak™, MoneyGram® ExpressPayment®, PayXone™ locations such as Ace Cash Express, PreCash® retailers, Visa ReadyLink, and Western Union®. How do I make purchases with my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
To make a purchase or pay your bills, select "Credit" and sign the receipt provided by the merchant if necessary (signature transactions are free on all Vision Prepaid Cards). If you're shopping online, select “Visa” for your payment method, and enter the digits on your prepaid card just as you would with a credit card. It’s that easy!
How can I keep track of my spending on my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
View your transactions for FREE on any of the cards we offer by logging in to your Vision Prepaid Card account at visionprepaid.com. Once you're there, sign up to receive FREE† balance alerts sent to your cell phone or email. Or, you may call customer service at 1-800-207-1805. There is no charge to use the automated system or to speak to a customer service rep for the Vision Platinum Card or the Vision Premier Card, but there is a $.50 fee to use the automated systems and a $1.00 fee when you speak to a live agent with a Vision Preferred Card.
How do I pay bills with my Vision Visa Prepaid Card?
Bill Pay is FREE†† online with our automated bill payment service for any of the Vision Prepaid Card choices. With Bill Pay, you can send electronic payments to thousands of companies, even if they don't accept credit cards. If you want to pay a biller that isn't listed in our database, enter their information and the amount you wish to pay in the Bill Pay system, and we’ll send them a paper check on your behalf. You may also pay any biller directly with your card.
What are the other FREE features of the Vision Prepaid Cards?
Each of the flexible, convenient Vision Prepaid Cards comes with free Direct Deposit, signature transactions, automated account alerts and loads. There's never an overdraft fee, because your card is prepaid. See the Cardholder Agreement for the features and fees available, and choose the card that fits best with where you are today.

Can I add additional prepaid cards to my account?
Yes! You may add one additional Vision Prepaid Card for a friend or family member to use for secure, convenient spending as well. This additional card will hold its own balance and can be loaded only through a transfer from the primary account. A one-time fee may apply.
