Free Balance Alerts Via Email or Text Message


Instantly know how much money you have on your Vision Card with free balance alerts sent via email or text message to your cell phone. This free option keeps you up-to-date with your balance, purchases, deposits and important messages about your Vision Card account.

Example: Make a signature transaction at a store and within minutes a text message balance alert will arrive to your cell phone with the amount of the purchase and your remaining balance.

SETTING UP ACCOUNT ALERTS

It's easy to sign up to receive your account alerts:

  1. Go to www.visionprepaid.com and click on the "Member Login" link. As a first time user, sign up to create an ID and password to access your Vision Card account. Once you are logged in to your account, click on "Alerts" in the left column.
  2. Fill in your email address and/or cell phone number and the hours you would like to receive account alerts.
  3. Check off the account alerts you would like to receive and click the "Update" button.
 

* Obtaining Your Card: The USA PATRIOT Act is a federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account. What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to reasonably identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. "Guaranteed Approval" is contingent upon successfully passing this mandatory identification information. ** Your Weekly Fee will be rebated the following month when you sign up for Direct Deposit and deposit a minimum of $500 per month or complete 15 or more transactions a month. Otherwise, a Weekly Fee will be deducted from your card account each week. "No Transaction Fee" applies to Signature Transactions only.
